Job Description

Position exists to assist with responsibilities across all Warehouse and manufacturing and packaging operations by performing the following duties at minimum.

$12.75 an hour 2nd shift  


•         Actively participate in maintaining a Food Safe environment for our plant and our customers.

•         Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Guidelines.

•         Take pride in maintaining “Ready to Tour and Safety Aware Environment”

•         Participate in improvement projects to support Continuous Improvement.

•         Must be dependable and have good attendance record

•         Drive a fork truck safely and efficiently, also filling out required safety inspection report

•         Must be able to read and write in English

•         Keep work area clean and presentable

•         Be able to fulfill duties in any of the warehouse areas including, but not limited to – picking product for orders, loading trucks, unloading trucks, receiving product in, inventory control, hand piling product, cleaning

•         Work in other departments as assigned

•         Perform any other duties as directed by any member of the management team

•         Perform all transactions accurately and efficiently in SAP

•         Responsible for reporting any food safety or quality issues to Supervisor as well as the following specific duties involving food safety and quality: Assure proper product rotation, Maintain 100% accuracy with all transactions, strive to eliminate product and packaging damage.

•         Other duties may be assigned.


REPORTS TO:  Warehouse Manager

EDUCATION:  High School Education

EXPERIENCE:  Previous forklift driving experience highly preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES:  Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Forklift certification preferred; must demonstrate efficiency in SAP.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Ability to get on and off forklift.  90% driving. Some bending and lifting required up to 50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:  Factory setting requiring the use of PPE and following all GMPs.
