Job Description

Responsible for working on a kitting table and assembling various forms of documents and products into completed kits for customers. Collate materials and place materials into containers, performing pre-assembly duties, which includes; cutting boxes, and opening and stocking of assembly lines and final assembly of materials in to packaged products.

Record shop floor data entries in a timely and accurate manner.

Deliver completed project to next operation.

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Direct crews of kitters on assigned shifts regularly checking for quality, safety, productivity and adherence to company policies.

Report discrepancies, quality and personnel issues and other matters of significance to Crewing Coordinators, Shift Coordinators or Bindery Manager

Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read, understand and carry out written instructions.

• Ability to understand verbal instructions.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment

• Good communication to assigned group and across shifts

• Standing 100% of the 8 hour shift

• Job requires ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Occasionally lift/carry 20 to 50 pounds.

• Frequently lift/carry 10 to 20 pounds.

• Grasping with both hands for long periods of time.

• Continuous eye concentration.

• Able to work 8 hour shifts and required overtime
