Job Description

Several openings for Quality Inspectors, Assembly, and Technical Operators. $10-13/Hr. DOE. 1st/2nd shifts open immediately! . Not on busline. Menomonee Falls, WI. Company assembles circuit boards for auto, aviation, toys etc.

The Quality Inspector is part of a team inspecting the electronics assemblies at various stages to make sure they conform to the industry and customer standards and works with production personnel to fix any quality issues on the production lines.

Responsibilities:

  • To understand and accurately interpret all J-STD and IPC-A-610 quality standards and customer quality standards.

  • To verify all standards and production documentation (travelers, deviations, product awareness reports, etc.) are being adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Inspect assemblies visually and/or with inspection equipment.

  • Rework defective assemblies in order to correct the problem.

  • Perform all quality reporting requirements outlined in the quality system.

  • Program and perform Ionic testing as required.

  • Monitor and interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) data.

  • Understand and follow all applicable quality system procedures.

  • Perform all assigned responsibilities outlined in the quality system.

  • Follow established product handling procedures consistently.

  • Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) guidelines at all times.

  • Assist in any department that requires additional help.

  • Perform other duties as needed to support the customers, manufacturing processes and Quality Systems companywide. This includes following procedures, work instruction and completing all related documentation.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Math and basic number skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), use of decimals and fractions.

  • Basic data entry skills for computer applications.

  • Must be able to read, interpret and consistently follow drawings, engineering specifications, floor manufacturing procedures, customer specification, data packs and workmanship quality standards.

  • Employees are required to have an eye exam for this position. 20/20 vision (with glasses or contacts if needed) is required and must be able to see colors.

  • Electronic Assemblies Certification a plus.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of direct experience in a Manufacturing role with electrical/mechanical work history and or Education.

  • Must be fluent in English.
