Job Description

Production Support

A Production Support worker must have excellent manual dexterity and the ability to work with a variety of equipment. Successful utility workers learn new skills quickly and manage their time effectively. Employees will be cross trained in all departments to assist when in needed.

Production Support Requirements

  • Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Loading and unloading containers in the shipping/receiving area

  • Operating manual and power tools

  • Completing basic maintenance tasks

  • Assures that work area is clean, i.e., sweeping

  • Work independently with little direction, as well as getting along with other employees

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to lift parts up 65 lbs. frequently

  • Ability to pick up and move parts up to 20 lbs. continuously throughout the entire shift

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Quick learner, eager to further knowledge and skills

  • Responsible, dependable, punctual and accountable

  • Forklift experience a plus

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 

All Training is on 1st shift for the first three (3) months; then switching to either 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay rate starts at $11.50 per hour.
