Job Description


  • Direct and motivate Warehouse Team to perform all tasks in a safe, efficient manner while following all applicable procedures and guidelines.

  • Oversee the Shipping and Receiving during assigned schedule.

  • Responsible for overall customer satisfaction (both internal and external) as well as documentation accuracy of product shipped and received.

  • Act as liaison between Customer Service and the Warehouse.

  • Responsible for sanitation duties based on sanitary needs of the department.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.


  1. Reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  2. Ensure that Warehouse personnel receive the necessary training, feedback and direction so as to perform their job effectively.
  3. Monitor that all activities are compliant with Safety and Quality requirements.
  4. Verify that deliveries scheduled for shipping are picked and shipped as scheduled.
  5. Participate in inventory/cycle count checks as required.
  6. Schedule activities to ensure that sanitation tasks for assigned shift are completed to standards set forth by Quality Assurance and the Warehouse Manager.  Each month, the Master Sanitation Schedule must be completed 100%.  Any audit deficiencies must be corrected.
  7. Effectively communicate information to warehouse employees and other affected parties as needed.  Prioritize and allocate available resources in the most efficient manner.  Communicate reasonable timelines for completion of tasks.
  8. Effectively communicate needs of the department to other departments as needed.  To include: refining, conching, sanitation, quality, customer service reps, and depositing team.  Work proactively to try and anticipate issues and resolve.
  9. Verify that all necessary paperwork for department is filled out correctly and in a timely manner.
  10. Manage stocks, assigning duties and following-up on tasks assigned and paper-work needed.
  11. Investigate inventory issues and negatives in the Production Supply areas.
  12. Coordinate the transfer of Finished Goods between the main facility (MAG) and the leased Warehouse (EXT).



Job Requirements

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  2. A valid driver’s license is required.

  3. Basic exposure to computers in necessary, including E-mail and Instant Messaging.  Preferred experience with ERP/MRP software (bar-code scanning); AS400, BaaN or SAP.

  4. Warehouse and/or fork lift experience is welcome but not required.

  5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as picking lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis, safety rules, GMP’S, Operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
