Job Description

The Company is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift machine operators to set up, program and run custom equipment to manufacture woven wire mesh. Operators work with metal wire by measuring and feeding wire into the looms to make precise woven patterns per customers’ specifications. This is a temp to hire position after 90 days.

The Company is looking for passionate individuals who take pride in their work and have the following skill set:

  • Attention to detail.

  • Basic math skills and able to read a tape measure.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours a day.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and part layouts/prints.

  • Experience in a production setting in the steel industry is beneficial.

All operators are trained to set up their own equipment as well as run production orders on their machines. This results in a challenging, high-paced atmosphere. Given the library of over 3,000 different specifications, each day can be different with new challenges. There are endless opportunities for cross training in new areas with new equipment. You’ll learn skills that are unique to the wire mesh industry utilizing custom built equipment.
