GENERAC PDC 


Employees will be picking, packaging, shipping orders from warehouse using a scanner and following a work order.  Will be placing labels for shipping, taking quantities and different product off the racks like hoses, belts, spark plugs etc. and putting them onto a cart.  Will also prepackage and assemble boxes and any other misc. duties assigned as clean up etc. Will be trained on a (WAV) and must be Certified to operate it. Must pay attention to detail, standing 8 - 10hrs shift, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50lbs.

Qualifications: 
•         H. S. Diploma or GED
•         Must be at least 18 years old to work in a warehouse environment
•         Basic computer skills for data entry
•         Ability to work 1st shift hours and mandatory overtime: 
•         Current shift hours 5am-3pm
•         Possible mandatory weekend overtime
•         Ability to read, write, add, subtract and identify individual part numbers
•         Ability to lift, walk, climb ladders and be on feet for 8+ hours a day
•         Ability to use part picking and material handling equipment
Preferred Skills:
•         Prior warehouse experience
•         Prior experience using Powered Industrial Vehicles


Must be able to work any hours beginning with 5am-3pm  Monday through Friday. They would also have to be able to work possible Saturdays    We need them to be able to understand and speak English and the ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours (minus time given for breaks).

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Generally requires knowledge of basic shop arithmetic, ability to follow written instruction, computer literate and ability obtain knowledge of company procedures and policies, and the ability  to operate manual pallet trucks. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.  The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools or controls and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders.

 

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
