2nd shift $14.75 per hour


Under the direction of the Paint Line Shift Supervisor, the Paint Line Operator loads equipment for the processing of raw materials.


This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as required by management.

  1. Prepare raw materials for productions runs and verify materials match with the customer order requirements and production schedule. 

  2. Connect raw material (metal) through a stitching process. 

  3. Visually inspect coils to identify defects (marks, dents, scratches, etc.) in raw materials and finished products

  4. Work as a team to complete production set ups to ensure an efficient changeover from job to job. 

  5. Package coils to customer requirements (paper, cardboard, shrink wrap, etc.). This may include driving a forklift or helping the forklift driver.

  6. Ensure that finished goods are properly and safely stacked both on the forklift and in the warehouse. 

  7. Keeping a work area that is clean and safe through the removal of production scrap and packaging scrap by disposing of the waste in a timely fashion and placing the waste in the proper receptacles. 

  8. Participate in safety and other training programs as required. 

  9. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. 

  10. Work in a safe manner when performing all duties described. Always be aware of where your co-worker(s) are.

  11. Works with crew members during production downtime on projects as defined by management.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School or equivalent

  • Forklift Experience preferred but not required

  • Exposure to production environment preferred

Language Skills

  • Proficient in reading and writing English

Mathematical Skills

  • Understanding basic measurements and mathematics when using a calculator, and a comfort level with computers as some data entry or data lookup is required.

Reasoning Ability

  • Exhibit safe work habits

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to write and record legible information on production paperwork.
