POSITION SUMMARY:

Monitor all quality aspect of components and assemblies produced internally or by external sources.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform incoming and in process inspections in accordance with customer and or industry standards.

• Maintain inspection equipment and verify calibration.

• Complete all inspection documentation for components including first article inspections as required.

• Completion of all documentation and paperwork to perform job.

• All other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control.

• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as, autonomously.

• Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

• Capable of handling stressful situations.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

• Able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, schematics and other technical documents;

• Maintain sense of urgency and ability to prioritize work.

• Sound understanding of the principles of the various products.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (SPECIALIZED):

• Experience in ISO/FDA quality concepts preferred

• 3 years related field experience

• Experience in the use of the following inspection equipment: calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, thread gages, dial indicators, CDI torque meter/tester, height gage, gage pins and other inspection equipment as required.

Training is involved with 1st shift.

2n shift Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30pm

$15.00- $16.00 an hour.
